| Over
the last few years we have seen many parents
in Korea sending their children overseas
for an education. Studying abroad at young
age has become a trend in this country.
Many students at a relatively young age
are currently studying abroad, namely the
USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
About 15 years ago this phenomenon was only
observed in a certain group of people who
were able to afford the hefty fee of overseas
education. However, these days it has become
a viable option for many parents who believe
in investing in the betterment of their
children's education. As a matter of fact,
a recent survey indicates that more 50%
of parents in Korea contemplate overseas
education for their young children if they
have not already begun participating in
this growing trend.
With this in mind, POLY School would
like to provide our parents with useful
information in regards to studying overseas.
A majority of the students are studying
in the USA therefore we have come up with
a list of the Top Ten Boarding Schools
in the eastern part of the USA. In this
POLY Special Report, we will try our best
to provide information to parents need
for schooling in USA. Change in education
environment is such a significant matter,
and it could be a turning point for many
students. Gathering much needed information
and understanding of the system will help
parents and students enormously and also
ensure an enjoyable and productive education
experience. We hope that parents find
this Special Report useful and that it
will help our students learn more about
this important issue. |
